Control Panel
Spacelink offers the leading control panels to assist you in managing your server.Plesk Control Panel: PLESK dedicated servers offers a comprehensive cpanel dedicated server solution used by leading hosting providers worldwide for shared, virtual and dedicated hosting. This control panel is designed to simplify the management and administration of web sites.
CPanel - Control Panel: Specially designed for Linux web hosting, cPanel/WHM software offers a fully automated platform to manage essential tasks quickly and reliably. cPanel uses intuitive tools to update web pages, create e-mail accounts and install applications for blogs, shopping carts and forums. The Web Host Manager (WHM) simplifies account setup, server alerts, spam monitoring, and more.
KVM Over IP
Remote access digital KVM over IP service eliminates distance limitations by allowing secure remote access and control of servers and other network devices. Spacelink's KVM Over IP service provides for Virtual Media, allowing you the ability to remotely mount a hard drive or CD/DVD drive to your dedicated server. You can even boot from the remotely mounted drive.
Firewall
Take advantage of Spacelink's Managed Firewall Services. It is your first line of defense against hackers, virus attacks and other Internet risks. Spacelink offers two options for firewall security. The first is a less expensive software-based IP filtering solution. The more secure solution is a Cisco ASA 5505 hardware-based managed firewall solution. Our Cisco ASA 5505 hardware firewall solution is designed and configured to automatically block malicious traffic and provide rapid response to emerging threats before they impact your hosted server and data.
Private LAN
If you have more than one server on our network, save money by taking advantage of our Private LAN service. All traffic between your servers will remain private and not be metered against your allotted bandwidth plan.
Data Backup
Allow Spacelink to safeguard your servers, maintain uptime and guarantee the full recovery of all essential data and applications with our Managed Backup Services. Whether caused by human error, hardware failure, hackers or a natural disaster, data loss can be catastrophic for any business. Take advantage of proven Managed Backup Services - initial setup, regular reporting, round-the-clock monitoring and full data restores.
Spacelink IT Service
Spacelink's IT Service is our managed service designed for small- to medium-size businesses that do not have their own IT staff on call. Save money and allow us to be your IT staff by supporting basic web hosting services as well as control panel troubleshooting. This service allows your company to take a hands-off approach while our experienced support team takes care of tasks, including the following: IMAP, POP & SMTP e-mail services , DNS (bind), HTTPD (Apache, II) Apache addons and modules, MySQL configuration, Java/JSP/Tomcat configuration, certain third-party scripts, and control panel updates (only cPanel/WHM and PLESK). This service provides for up to 2 Hours dedicated System Administrator time monthly. Additional time is billed at $75/hr.
Server Monitoring & Rocket Response
This service places your dedicated server in our proprietary monitoring service. If your server at any time becomes unreachable, one of our network operations personnel will immediately begin addressing the issue and will notify you right away. This service is designed for organizations that need immediate assistance when their dedicated server is experiencing an issue. Our network operations personnel will need your root passwords in order to troubleshoot the issue to the best of their ability.
Issue Notifications
Spacelink's issue notification service uses an extremely popular open source program called Nagios. Every minute, our custom configured Nagios system monitors your hardware, HTTP, FTP, DNS, SMTP/POP/IMAP and MySQL services and issues a Ping Test. If any of these services are having an issue, you will be notified immediately.
